Transfers ToNot transferableDescriptionDental Assisting Lab 1 is an engaging and comprehensive course designed to provide students with hands-on experience in various aspects of dental assisting. Throughout this introduction course, students will delve into a wide array of basic topics that are essential for a successful career in dental assisting. By the end of this course, you will have gained practical proficiency in a range of essential dental assisting skills including Infection Prevention in Dentistry, Occupational Health and Safety, Patient Information and Assessment and Radiographic Imaging. This foundation will set the stage for the continued growth in the field of dental assisting and pave the way for your success as a registered dental assistant. Final examination and final grade must be 75% or higher to continue. Uniform and lab fees of $500 will be collected at registration.
