    Description
The purpose of this course is to increase the skill level of law enforcement officers, as first responders, in their ability to effectively respond to an active threat. This course will focus on increasing the effectiveness of room clearing, tactical withdrawal, setting perimeters and responding to active shooters. This course will utilize simunitions to train in dynamic entries, room clearing and active shooter training. This course will also have a live firearm element. Both the simunitions and live fire drills will simulate the physical and mental stress that would be most nearly created by actual field combat situations. This course is certified by the California Commission on Peace Officer Standards and Training (POST) and the California Board of State and Community Corrections, Standards and Training for Corrections (STC). Course instructor signature required for enrollment. Material fees of $25.00 per student collected at time of registration.
