This will include the biology of learning, learning styles, memory, retention, retrieval of information and executive functioning. Examination of how learning disabilities, Autism, and Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder impact learning. Practical instruction is provided on executive functioning skill development, note-taking and basic study skills. This course is appropriate for students enrolled in the DSPS program experiencing academic achievement difficulties in any area.
