Transfers ToCSUDescriptionThis course will cover how to develop expedition and program goals and objectives, obtaining participant information, travel and access plans, equipment and resource plans, food and hygiene/medical requirements, and safety/emergency plans. The success or failure of every wilderness outing, whether a day trip or a month-long expedition, in part hinges on the planning process. Exhaustive and detailed planning does not necessarily ensure the success of achieving the expedition’s goals; however, poor planning most certainly will contribute to its failure.
