    The AIARE Level 1 introduces decision making tools to help manage risk while traveling in avalanche terrain. Through pre-course online learning, classroom, and field instruction, this class meets American Avalanche Association guidelines and results in a certificate of completion from the American Institute for Avalanche Research and Education (AIARE).
