- This course is designed for students interested in learning an in-depth introduction to whitewater rafting. Students will spend the majority of the class on an overnight rafting trip on the East Fork of the Carson River. Topics include: safe river travel, river equipment, hydrology, geomorphology, reading water, paddle skills, guide skills, and river stewardship. *UC unit/course limit
