- Students will learn how to travel in the back country and cope with wilderness emergencies. Topics covered will include wilderness survival, land navigation, food storage, cold injury, shelter and clothing, and wilderness travel with an emphasis on self-reliance, improvisation and environmental awareness. *UC unit/course limit
