- In this course students will learn and practice outdoor leadership. Topics include Leave No Trace (LNT) practices, map and compass, wilderness first aid, and leadership strategies. Activities include peak ascents, wilderness skills, expeditionary learning, environmental stewardship, and service projects. This course will include a four day backpacking experience. Instruction will be both classroom and field-based. *UC unit/course limit
