Topics such as violent crime, victimology, corrections, law enforcement, white-collar crime, terrorism, cyber crime, and social policies towards crime will be analyzed in the context of major criminological and sociological theories and approaches. Special attention will be given to the social construction of crime in the media and popular culture.
