- In this non-credit course students of all skill levels will learn fundamentals of reading music and chord theory as it applies to the piano. Basic scales and chord progressions will be emphasized along with solo pieces in a wide variety of styles that will improve sight-reading ability and two-hand coordination. Skills and exercises in this course focus on lifelong education for older adults to promote health and well-being.
