Transfers ToUC and CSUIGETC Area 6A · CSU GE Area C2DescriptionThis beginning level Japanese course is a continuation of JPN 102, and will further introduce students to the Japanese language, with a focus on building oral communication skills as well as listening and reading skills. Students will continue to study and learn the written languages of Hiragana, Katakana, and Kanji. Emphasis will focus on proper grammatical usage. Describing events, people, expressing feelings, and reasoning will be addressed. Cultural topics, including the continued study of honorific characteristics of the Japanese language, will be studied.
