    Description
    This course is an introduction to the basic mythological themes recurring in literature, music, and the arts of world mythologies, including from ancient Greece, Rome, Mesopotamia, Egypt, East Asia, Africa, Oceania, the Americas, and Northern Europe. It includes the lives and loves of the gods and heroes, their origins, and their development into myths. This course also examines the continued influence of mythological motifs on customs, traditions, beliefs, and values.
