This course will familiarize students with a variety of lab and field techniques used in forestry. Students will become familiar with basic field procedures, protocols, and methods. The course will emphasize the proper use of field equipment, data gathering and analysis, and scientific reporting skills. Students will demonstrate an understanding of forestry concepts while visiting a variety of field locations.
