Transfers ToNot transferableDescriptionThis is a comprehensive course in the safety aspects of fighting wildland fires and the methods, procedures, and responsibilities of firefighters. The course includes instruction in specialized equipment, physical fitness, fire behavior and suppression, human factors, and general fireline construction and National Incident Management System (NIMS) IS-700. Successful completion results in a certificate from the National Wildfire Coordinating Group (NWCG).
