    This course is an introduction to the legal system, the sources of law, the criminal court system, and the trial process. The course focuses in particular on the classifications and rules of evidence. Includes a thorough overview of legal issues in criminal evidence such as admissibility, constitutional protections including the Fourth Amendment, and the burden of proof. Also covered are general considerations in evidence such as inferences and presumptions, privilege, judicial notice, expert testimony, scientific, and demonstrative evidence. .
