    This course is the second quarter of a three-quarter course intended for majors in the sciences or closely-related fields, such as chemical engineering or allied health fields. This course expands on the material from CHM 221, focusing on alkynes, polyenes; aromatic compounds; alcohols, thiols, and ethers; and aldehydes and ketones and their derivatives.
