- This is a laboratory course to accompany CHM 221. This course is intended to introduce students to laboratory techniques common in modern synthetic organic chemistry. The course introduces laboratory techniques common in synthetic organic chemistry. Students will work on both standard preparatory scale and microscale to prepare, isolate, purify, and characterize organic compounds.
