    Description
    This course is a one-quarter introduction to general chemistry primarily for students who intend to pursue careers in allied health fields and other applied sciences. This course is also the prerequisite for CHM 101. Topics include scientific measurements, energy and matter, atoms and elements, compounds and bonding, chemical quantities and reactions, gases, solutions, acids and bases, and nuclear chemistry. *UC unit/course limit
