Transfers ToCSUDescriptionThis course is a continuation of metal sculpture concepts and techniques introduced in ART 219A. Advanced-beginning level experiences in steel fabrication, such as blacksmithing, oxygen-acetylene welding and cutting, metal inert gas (MIG) and tungsten inert gas (TIG) welding, and the lost-wax method for bronze and aluminum casting utilizing ceramic shell investment are emphasized.
