Transfers ToCSUCSU GE Area C1DescriptionThis course provides an introduction to the methods and techniques in drawing the human figure using a wide variety of drawing media. Students in this course will learn both descriptive and interpretive approaches to drawing the figure. Topics include an introduction to human anatomy and the historical and contemporary roles of figure drawing in the visual arts. Emphasis will be placed on the study of form and structure as they relate to human proportion and anatomy analysis.
