Transfers ToCSUDescriptionThis course focuses on the use of anthropological theories and perspectives in real-world contexts of practice, problem-solving, and policy making and will provide students with models designed to help understand and solve problems arising as a result of culture change, culture conflict, modernization, and globalization. The major areas of study will include development anthropology and the use of technology in field settings, anthropology and healthcare, anthropology and advocacy, anthropology and law, organizational and business anthropology, educational anthropology, public anthropology, and cultural resource management. An applied research project and/or field trips may be required.
