    Description
    This course provides intermediate level training focused on the tactical application of chainsaws in the wildland fire environment. Emphasis is placed on containment line construction, large diameter bucking operations, high complexity bucking operations, directional tree felling, line scouting and placement, and intermediate level chainsaw troubleshooting. This class will also maintain and develop physical skills and stamina required for the demands of a sawyer on a wildland fire module.
