- Description
- This course is a rigorous introduction to key ethical theories and their application to classic and contemporary moral problems through study of four primary texts: Plato's Republic, Aristotle's Nicomachean Ethics, Kant's Groundwork of the Metaphysics of Morals, and Mill's Utilitarianism. As an honors section, the class will be conducted as a seminar with an emphasis on student research and writing.
