Music's impact on culture, economics, politics, religion, and society from Middle Ages to the present serves as a guide for student directed research. The course will include concert attendance. As an honors.section, this class will employ enhanced teaching methods such as seminar approach, and assignments calling for a higher level of critical thinking.
