    Description
    This course covers advanced welding practices using SMAW, GMAW, GTAW, and FCAW. Objectives will be completed in flat, horizontal, vertical, and overhead positions on steel, aluminum, and stainless steel. There will also be a general overview of inspection, testing, and certification procedures using the American Welding Society (AWS) Structural Steel Code (D1.1). Tools and lab supplies will be provided; however, students will be responsible for supplying all safety gear and appropriate shop attire.
