- This course provides in-depth instruction on compact diesel engines, service department skills and expectations. The design and construction of diesel engines, principles and theories of operation, disassembly and reassembly of engine components will be covered. Students will also receive instruction on technical reference materials, parts and service books, computer systems and programs used by the service technician as it relates to compact diesel engines.
