    Description
    This course provides a framework for students to visit, examine, and analyze a country outside the United States to learn about the place and people. Emphasis is placed on the distinctive cultural characteristics of a country. Upon completion, students should be able to identify similarities and differences, analyze causes and effects, and clearly articulate the impact of one or more cultural elements. International travel will be required for this course, and the course will culminate in a presentation of the students' research projects.
