Designed to apply skills acquired in other natural resources courses and under actual field conditions. Subjects include timber sale planning and preparation, harvest systems, recreation planning and analysis, silviculture application, land boundary determination, and leadership-crew dynamics. Course consists of a work day emulating field techniques of the natural resources industry. Preparing school forest infrastructure for winter season. A room and board fee is required.
