    Description
    This course provides a study of industrial robots, covering the principles, applications, and programming of robotic systems used in manufacturing and automation. Skills will be gained in interfacing external devices, programming and operating robots, and controlling production. Key topics of practice and study include robot safety, identification of robot and robot axis components, design programs to control robots, and developing work cells. Conditional enrollment: prospective students must apply to and be accepted into the Central Valley FAME program. Go to the Central Valley FAME website to apply. Prerequisite: FAME-50 and FAME-51
