    This course covers the topics laid out in the FAME Manufacturing Core Exercise (MCE) 1. Topics of instruction will include an introduction to the concept of safety in a shop environment, the importance of establishing and following a strict safety policy, potential workplace hazards, methods to improve safety, and emergency response procedures. To maintain alignment with the FAME program timeline, this class must be completed during the first semester of enrollment in the FAME program.
