Focus on sociocultural challenges, struggles, and social justice movements that define the Chicano/a/x experience. Examination of the ancestral roots, dynamic migration/immigration trends, conflict, racialization processes, liberation struggles, socialization process, and sociopolitical patterns from ancient Indigenous civilizations of Mesoamerica to the present.
