It covers the study of several groups of compounds in organic chemistry including aromatic compounds, benzene derivatives, carbonyl compounds, amines, amino acids, lipids, and nucleic acids. Each group is analyzed in terms of their structure, physical properties, nomenclature, reactions and reaction mechanisms.
