Students are expected to enter with proficiency in ASL-1. This course will build upon prior knowledge of ASL for communication purposes with members of the Deaf community. This course will examine vocabulary, morphology, and syntax used in the everyday language of the Deaf community. This class is taught in the target language, American Sign Language. This course is intended for parents of deaf and hard of hearing children.
