- This course includes the fundamentals of horsemanship, equestrian theory, riding practice, equipment, terminology, basic care, safety around horses, and horse handling with an emphasis on riding skills to develop the horse and rider as a unit. This course will require student participation in an intercollegiate horse show competition and may be repeated 3 times.
