    This course provides a basic understanding of the business and economics of the agricultural industry and the role that it plays in the global economy. Students will be introduced to the economic aspects of agriculture and their implications for the agricultural producer, consumers and the food system. Students will also discuss the management principles encountered in the day-to-day operation of an agricultural enterprise as they relate to the decision-making process.
