    This course offers an introduction to the principles, techniques, and practices of devised theater. Through a combination of theory, practical exercises, and creative exploration, students will learn the collaborative processes involved in creating original theatrical works. The course emphasizes ensemble-based creativity, experimentation, and the development of skills in improvisation, physicality, and collective storytelling. Popular examples of ensemble-based creativity include plays such as The Laramie Project and War Horse .
