    Description
    This course lays the foundation for the study of global sustainability. With universal foundation/framework, this course provides students with a basic understanding of environmental systems and interrelationship and effect of humans upon the environment. Topics include a historical overview of sustainability and the current problems and issues related to establishing sustainable practices in resource management and conservation of natural resources. Students will examine environmental and urban resource issues, strategies, and tools to investigate and analyze sustainable practices. Students will learn the aspects of systems thinking as it relates to solving sustainability challenges.
