Topics include reading in the higher positions, contrapuntal music, harmonics, and ornamentation. The student will study and play a variety of exercises and repertoire representative of the Renaissance, Baroque, Classical, Romantic, and Modern periods as well as selected compositions from the modern folk and pop music genre. The course is designed for those guitarists who are approaching advanced levels with a strong music reading background.
