- This course, part of the Fitness Professional Certificate Program, provides a thorough review of the structure, action and performance of skeletal muscle for those intending to teach strength training. The course studies anatomy and physiology; muscular strength and endurance; flexibility; training sequences; available equipment; and safety factors, including contraindications.
