    This course provides a thorough introduction to the principles of psychology as applied to the area of sport. The course explores individual personality differences and team dynamics as they apply to sporting performance; psychological techniques to enhance performance (hypnosis, cognitive-behavioral, imagery); and the profile of the "mentally tough" athletic. Students explore mental training techniques and create applied performance routines. KNES 10 was formerly offered as KNES 101.
