The course focuses on selecting and using information collected as documentation to plan and implement quality programming and meet the individual needs of the child. The course also examines methods of utilizing data about each child to form effective partnerships between families and professionals. The course explores recording strategies including rating scales, portfolios, and use of multiple assessment methods.
