    Prerequisite
    Apply native daily spoken French in situations such as describing travel plans, ordering and discussing foods, describing habitual past activities. Apply grammatical structures and appropriate vocabulary in speaking situations. Employ an active vocabulary of at least 1,400 words Write sentences, with an increased level of complexity (beyond French I) that demonstrate knowledge and appropriate application of language structures, vocabulary, and spelling. Compare and contrast cultural features of France with student's own native culture., FR 2, Beginning French II, or three years of high school French

    Description
    This course is designed to develop fluency in French, with an emphasis on informal expression. Conversations are centered on topics including current events, politics, cinema, cuisine, art, literature, theatre, and other aspects of French and Francophone culture.
