Through classroom and laboratory instruction, the course covers planning, service equipment, wiring methods, lighting, and the special requirements for kitchens, bathrooms, and other residential living spaces. Outdoor installations are also covered, as well as swimming pools, spas, heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) equipment, and remodeling (old work).
