    Description
    This course utilizes the Eastern Medicine mind-body techniques and methods from dance, exercise, and various therapy programs (e.g. Raja Yoga, Pilates, Myofascial release, Sweigard, Feldenkrais, GYROKINESIS(R)Techniques) to promote greater technical ability in dance, sports, exercise, and other movement-based programs. Emphasis is on efficiency of movement, agility, balance, flexibility, and the long-term care and prevention of injuries for oneself and others to be more marketable in any profession. It also includes information on kinesiology, nutrition, and the connections between eastern and western medicine. Students are limited to taking four conditioning courses (DNCE 50, 86, 87, 88, 90, 91, or 92) for a maximum of 12 units.
