    This is an introductory course that introduces the theory and technology of vector illustration for digital artists and designers. This project-based course focuses on developing industry standard competencies in software as well as developing students' conceptual and creative skills, and problem solving abilities. The course addresses the integration of traditional design, color, and gestalt principles through the use of contemporary digital tools. Assignments are designed to produce strong portfolio pieces. Students will learn to use Adobe Illustrator and Adobe InDesign.
