    Description
    This course teaches students the tools of computation and Statistical analysis using R. Students apply methods from Statistics to analyze data sets. Using the open source software R, students learn to download, process, and manipulate large data sets. Students apply statistical methods to compute descriptive statistics, visualize data, and perform inferential analysis for data analysis. CS 17 is also listed as MATH 17; credit will be given in either area, not both.
