    Description
    Students planning to enter any professional field that requires active listening, communication and intervention skills that will be central to their central roles. Helping occupations include, but are not limited to, working as teachers, counselors, psychologists, nurses, doctors, medical personnel, caregivers, firefighters, and law enforcement personnel. Students examine their role as a helper and applying the skills that they acquire to their own lives and relationships. COUN 15 was formerly offered as COUN 150.
