    In COMM 106B students prepare and present speeches at competitive tournaments for the college-sponsored speech and debate team. Events include debate, public speaking, and oral interpretation. Participation in at least two forensic events is required for credit. Students spend four hours in class and at least four hours outside of class per week to earn two-and-a-half units of credit. This course is offered on an open-entry/open-exit basis. A combination of COMM 106A, 106B, and 106C may be taken a maximum of four times. C-ID: COMM 160B
