    Description
    This course provides an introduction to network security concepts, security monitoring, host-based analysis, network intrusion analysis, and security policies and procedures. Students gain understanding and hands-on experience on how to detect and respond to security incidents, understand how organizations deal with cybercrime, cyber espionage, insider threats, advanced persistent threats, regulatory requirements, and related issues. This course also aligns with the National Initiative for Cybersecurity Education (NICE) Cybersecurity Workforce Framework to support consistent communication language for cybersecurity education, training, and workforce development. This course helps prepare the student for Cisco's Certified CyberOps Associate (CBROPS) Exam.
