    This course is designed for individuals seeking basic computer, keyboarding and document processing skills for personal and business applications. The course introduces the Windows environment, word processing software, touch control of the keyboard, email, and the formatting of simple academic reports. Students concentrate on improving keyboarding speed and accuracy. No prior computer experience is required. Successful completion of this class results in a minimum keyboarding speed of 15 net words per minute.
